Would it be weird for me too....?

It wouldn't be wierd at all to take lessons, but I would recommend waiting a little bit, maybe 9th grade...That way your voice will already go through the changing state IE:You might be an soprano now, but later on be an alto...But yeah I would strongly encourage some singing lessons:D
