What are the chances of getting killed at war in the AIRFORCE?

Yeah, Im serious! I really want to join...my husband is also active duty...he has been deployed once, and it wasnt so bad. He wasnt even in the main scary part, but he still got hazardous pay. The only reason that I am asking this is because my mom is totally against me joining because Im her only daughter and she thinks its very highly dangerous.
